WORN THEIR WAY: SIENNA SWIM IN SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT

Posted by Sienna Swim Team on

There are some brand moments you dream about long before they happen. Seeing Sienna Swim in the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit was one of ours.

But what began as one of those pinch-us moments has grown into something much bigger. We've watched Sienna Swim appear in the magazine, in digital editorials, and on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway—worn by women we admire for far more than what they look like.

Most recently, seeing Lizzo wearing Sienna Swim in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit brought everything full circle. She wore our Palm Cabo Top and Montecito Bottom, and seeing those pieces on someone who so completely owns who she is felt especially meaningful.

For a brand that began with a simple belief—that every woman deserves to feel incredible in swimwear—these moments mean more than we can say.

There Isn't One Sienna Swim Woman

One of the things we've loved most about seeing Sienna Swim in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit world is watching the same collection come to life so differently on every woman who wears it.

That's exactly how we've always believed swimwear should work.

From XS–3XL, minimal to full coverage, barely-there bikinis to more supportive silhouettes and one-pieces, we design with different women, different bodies, and different ways of feeling confident in mind.

There isn't one Sienna Swim woman, and there was never supposed to be.

The Women Who Made It Their Own

We've watched Olympian Ilona Maher and models Penny Lane and Ellie Thumann walk the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway in Sienna Swim.

We've seen our designs worn by Hunter McGrady, Erin Marley Klay, Jasmine Sanders, Christen Goff and, most recently, Lizzo.

Each time, the suit looks a little different. And that's exactly the point.

These women have different careers, different stories, different bodies, and entirely different ways of showing up in the world. Seeing each of them choose a Sienna Swim piece and make it completely her own has been one of the most rewarding parts of our journey.

And for our Founder, Sienna, watching women she admires step onto the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway wearing something that once began as an idea on a sketchpad is still a little surreal.

From the Pages to the Runway

When we started Sienna Swim, our goal wasn't to design for one kind of woman. We wanted to create pieces women could choose based on how they wanted to feel—whether that meant a barely-there bikini, more coverage, extra support, or something completely unexpected.

Seeing that idea reflected back at us through Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has made each of these moments that much more special.

A swimsuit can look completely different depending on who's wearing it. That's the beauty of it.

The woman makes the suit her own—not the other way around.

To Our Community

When we launched Sienna Swim, we couldn't have known where these suits would take us.

From our own community wearing them on beaches around the world to seeing them in the pages and on the runway at Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, every one of these moments still feels special.

But perhaps the best part is seeing something we've believed from the beginning reflected back at us: there is no single way to look beautiful in a swimsuit.

To every woman who has worn Sienna Swim, tagged us, told a friend, left a review, or simply found a suit that made her feel incredible—you're part of this story, too.

And we're only getting started.

With Love,
The Sienna Swim Team
